1942년 LA 카운티 상공에 외계의 비행체 한대가 날아왔으며, 밑의 사진이 그것을 증명한다. 1942년 2월 25일 이른 아침에 아주 이상한 일이 일어났다. LA 카운티 위에 비행체 한 대가 급작스럽게 불빛을 깜빡이며 날아왔다. 서치라이트들과 대공포들이 약 1시간동안 비행체에 고정되어졌다. 이 비상상황은 여느 때와는 틀렸다. 우리는 모두 이라크에서의 군사 작전 모습을 봤다. 무차별적 패턴으로 쏘아대는 대공포 장면들을 우리 대부분은 잘 알고 있다. the Battle of LA(LA 전투)에 관한 LA 타임스의 기사에서 나타난 밑의 사진은, 하늘의 이 급작출현에 대한 방어적 반응을 보여주지만 이라크에서의 상황과는 아주 다르다. 대공포 사격수들은 표적을 찾느라 허공을 정처 없이 찾아 헤맬 필요가 없었다. 그들은 초점을 분명히 겨눌 수 있었다. 이 사진은 내가 본 외계 비행체중 가장 확실하게 증명해주는 그림이다.

포토샵으로 약간 작업해서 나는 모든 서치라이트가 목표로 비춘 곳의 한가운데에 분명 고전적 비행접시 모양의 비행체로 보이는 이미지가 나타나게 할 수 있었다. 나는 그 사진을 확대해서 밝기와 콘트라스트를 조정했다.

이 그림은 확실히 내가 확대한 부분에서 비행접시 형태의 비행체를 보여주고 나머지 부분은 몇 번의 큰 폭발로 인한 연기가 불빛에 비추어지고 있는 것으로 보인다.

폭발지점들을 자세히 보라. 그 위치들은 비행체에 실제 접근하지 못하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 목격자들은 LA 타임스 기자들에게 폭탄이 비행체 주위에서 환을 그리며 폭발했다고 말했다. 저 비행체는 스타 트랙(Star Trek)영화의 상상의 비행기의 보호막과 아주 똑같은 보호막이라도 있었던 걸까? 나는 더 분명히 보기위해 붉은색으로 강조했다. 그에 부합되기라도 하듯, 보호막이 쳐진 곳으로 보여 진 곳이 두드러져 보인다.

The Battle of LA는 우리나라(미국) 하늘에 외계 비행체가 출현한 것에 대한 매우 설득력 있는 논의를 이끌어 내준다. 이 지구의 것이 아닌 무엇인가가 LA 카운티 하늘에 천천히 비행했다는 사실은 정말 분명하다. 이 비행체는 미국군대가 그것을 하늘에서 박살내려 정말 열심히 노력하고 있는 상태에서도 분명 서두르지 않고 움직였기 때문에 수십만 명의 목격자가 있다. 일단 이 비행체가 천천히 움직여 포의 사정거리 밖으로 가자 전투는 끝났다. 진주만습격이 일어난 지 겨우 몇 달 전이었기 때문에, 쉽게 일본에서 그 비행체를 만들었다고 믿게 되었다. 이제 이 이론은 간단히 무의미한 것이다. 만약 일본이 미국의 대공포도 견딜 수 있는 비행기를 만들었다면, 그 전쟁은 아주 다른 양상을 거쳤어야만 했다. 60년이나 지난 뒤임에도 지구상의 어떤 나라도 대공포를 맞고도 아무런 손상도 입지 않고 계속 날아갈 수 있는 비행기는 없다.

이 비행체는 적대적이 아니었다. 그 항공기의 조종사가 누군가를 해치려면 얼마든지 해치울 기회가 있었다. 나는 그 항공기가 무장되어있었는지는 모른다. 그러나 만약 인간이 그러한 폭탄세례를 견뎌낼 수 있는 항공기를 디자인했다면 그들은 무기도 실을 수 있게 디자인했을 것이다. 내가 읽어본 어떤 새로운 얘기에서도 조금이라도 적대적이었다는 언급은 없었다. 폭탄도 전혀 떨어뜨리지 않았고, 대공포 사격 지점으로 역공하지도 않았다.

이런 비행체는 인간이 만든 것일까 외계인이 만든 것일까? 왜?

나는 이 비행기가 무력을 사용하지 않고 힘을 보여준 일종의 쇼라고 본다. 이 항공기는 우리의 군대가 그것을 향해 해볼 수 있는 모든 폭격을 하는 와중에도 조금의 회피성 움직임도 없이 매우 천천히 비행했다. 만약 이것이 지적으로 제어되는 물체였다면, 그 조종사들은 자신의 항공기를 향해 일제사격을 퍼부어대고 있는 것을 도저히 몰랐을 수가 없다. 이들 조종사들이 그들의 항공기가 해를 입을 수 있을 걸 염려하지 않았다는 것은 분명하다. 이 항공기는 아무런 손상을 보이지도 않고 군대가 할 수 있는 최선을 견디어냈다. 이 항공기를 제조하는데 사용된 기술은 우리보다 훨씬 뛰어나다는 것을 말한다.

이 사건은 함축적이다. 외계의 조종사들은 자신들을 파괴하려는 도전을 무시했다. 무언가를 진술하기위해 행해진 것일 수 있다. 나는 그 항공기의 비행사들이 우리 인간이 자신들에게 손상을 입힐 수 없음을 말하려했고, 우리는 그들을 두려워해서는 안 된다는 것을 말하려했다고 생각한다.

나는 그 항공기가 대공포를 염두에 두고 디자인되었다고 믿지 않는다. 나는 그것이 다른 보호목적 때문에 그렇게나 강하게 만들어졌다고 생각한다. 말하자면 그 외계 조종사들은 그 항공기를 하늘에서 매우 빠르게 추진시킬 방법을 갖고 있는 것이다. 우주에는 많은 공간이 있다. 그러나 그것은 정확히 빈 것이 아니다. 우주는 크고 작은 물체들로 차있다. 우리의 태양계에는 수십억 개의 소행성이 있다. 그 대부분은 위성들처럼 태양주위를 선회한다. 만약 이 빠르게 움직이는 항공기가 10원짜리 크기의 암석이나 금속 하나에라도 부딪힌다면 박살날 것이다. 이 충돌 에너지는 어마어마할 것이다. 나는 이러한 종류의 충격은 이 항공기가 견디도록 디자인된 것이라고 생각한다.

The Battle of LA 사건은 UFO(Unidentified Flying Object: 미확인비행물체) 라는 개념이 널리 퍼지기 훨씬 오래전이다. 미 정부는 자신들이 포를 쏘았던 이 항공기가 미확인되었다라고 쉽게 말했을 뿐이다. 관료들은 대중이 그 항공기가 일본 것이었다고 간주하게끔 했다. 나는 얼마나 많은 사람들이 이 항공기가 일본 것임에 틀림없다는 생각에 의문을 표하기라도 했는지 의심스럽다.

나는 그들이 그 비행선을 떨어뜨렸었다면 무슨 일이 일어났을지 궁금하다. 정부는 Roswell에서 일어난 일을 덮는데 진땀을 쏟았다. 나는 정부가 LA시 한복판의 아파트건물크기의 추락한 외계 항공기를 숨길 수 있었을 거라고 생각하지 않는다.

나는 오늘날 도시상공의 미확인(UNIDENTIFIED) 항공기에 미 정부가 발포하기 시작하면  무슨 일이 일어날지 궁금하다. 똑같은 일이 발생한다면? 이 항공기는 우리가 그것을 향해 모든 폭탄을 쏟아 붇고 있는 중에도 단 한발도 반격하지 않고 천천히 도시상공을 날라 간다. 전 세계로 이 사건이 생중계되는 장면을 상상을 해 볼 수 있는가? 나는 어느 정도의 사람들이 즉각 이 미확인 비행체가 이 지구에 속하지 않는 존재들에 의해서 제조된 항공기라고 결론을 낼 수 있는지 궁금하다. 여러분은 얼마나 빨리 이런 얘기를 게눈감추듯 하려는 시도를 상상할 수 있나? 

외계의 항공기는 지구의 하늘에 날아다니고 있다.
 

60년 전 맑고 추운 밤, LA 카운티의 상공에 그 비행체가 날았었다는 것을 나는 전혀 의심하지 않는다.

An alien craft flew over Los Angeles County in 1942, and the picture below proves it. Something very odd happened in the early mourning hours of February 25, 1942. An aircraft flew over LA County that sparked an air raid alert. Searchlights and Guns were locked onto the aircraft for about a an hour. That alert was unlike any other. We,ve all seen the images of the military action in Iraq. Pictures of batteries of antiaircraft guns firing in what look like random patterns are familiar to most of us. The picture below appeared in the LA Times in a story about the Battle of LA It clearly shows a night time defensive response to an air raid, but the situation is very different than that in Iraq. The men firing the guns weren't desperately searching the sky trying to find a target. They clearly had a focus for their efforts. This picture is the most convincing piece of evidence I,ve seen of an alien craft.

With a little effort using Adobe Photoshop I was able to clear up the image into something that clearly shows a classic saucer shaped craft right in the center of where all those searchlights are aimed. I enlarged the picture and I adjusted the brightness &contrast using the levels tool.

The picture clearly shows a saucer shaped craft in the area I've highlighted. The area outside of my highlight appears to be clouds of smoke from several large explosions that is being illuminated by the lights.
 
Look closely at the explosions. They don't look like they are actually coming in contact with the craft. Witnesses told LA Times reporters that the bombs exploded in rings around the craft. Could it be that the craft had SHIELDS that are very similar to the shields used by the imaginary craft of Star Trek? I added the red highlight to clarify what I was looking at. Coincidentally, it seems to mark the place where those shields seem to be having an effect.
 
The Battle of LA makes a very convincing argument for the presence of alien craft in our skies. The fact that something not of this Earth flew slowly over LA County is very clear. There were hundreds of thousands of witnesses to the craft as it traveled apparently without being in any hurry while our military tried very hard to knock it out of the sky. Once the craft had slowly traveled out of range of our guns the battle was over. Since Pearl Harbor had happened only a few months before it was easy to believe that the Japanese had made the flight. Now that theory simply doesn't make any sense. If the Japanese had aircraft that were immune to our antiaircraft guns then the war would have taken a very different path. Even 60 years later no country on Earth have aircraft that can continue to fly without any apparent damage after being hit with even opne antiaircraft shell. The aircraft that flew over LA County that night had to have been an alien craft.
 
The aircraft wasn't hostile. If the pilots of the craft had wanted to hurt someone they certainly had the chance. I can't say whether that craft was armed, but if humans had designed a craft that could take such punishment they would have designed it to be able to carry weapons. There wasn't any mention about the craft doing anything hostile in any of the news stories I,ve read. It didn't drop any bombs and it didn't fire back at the gun emplacements.
 
WHY would anyone human or alien make such a flight?
 
I see this flight as a kind of a show of force without using force. The craft flew very slowly along without taking any evasive action as our military threw everything it could at it. If this was an INTELLIGENTLY controlled vehicle then there is NO WAY that the pilots didn't notice the barrage of shells that were being directed at their craft. It's obvious that they weren't concerned that their craft would be harmed. The craft withstood the best we could do to it without showing any damage. It clearly says that the technology used to manufacture this craft is far superior to ours.
 
What happened suggests intent. They ignored the provocation of our attempt to destroy them. It might have been done to make a statement. I think the pilots of that craft were trying to say that we couldn't hurt them and that we shouldn't be afraid of them.
 
I don't believe the craft was designed with antiaircraft gunfire in mind. I think that it was built so strong because of another concern. Let's say that they have a way to propel a craft very fast in open space. There's a lot of room in space, but it isn't exactly empty. Space is filled with objects large and small. There are Billions of asteroids in our solar system. Most of them are orbiting the sun just like the planets. If this fast moving craft hit a piece of rock or metal the size of a dime it might destroy it. The energies involved would be tremendous. I think that this type of impact is what the craft was designed to withstand.
 
The Battle of LA happened long before the idea that an Unidentified Flying Object might be an alien craft was widespread. The Government simply said that the craft they were shooting at was unidentified. They let the public ASSUME that the craft had been Japanese. I wonder how many people even questioned the idea that the craft MUST have been Japanese.
 
I wonder what would have happened if they had brought that ship down? The Government has had enough trouble covering up what happened at Roswell. I don't think they would have been able to cover up a crashed alien craft the size of an apartment building in the middle of the city of LA
 
I wonder what would happen if our Government started shooting at an UNIDENTIFIED craft over a city today? What if it happened exactly the same way? The craft flies slowly over a city without firing a shot while we throw everything we have at it. Can you imagine seeing LIVE news coverage of the event being broadcast around the world? I wonder how many people would immediately conclude that the unidentified craft was an aircraft manufactured by beings NOT OF THIS EARTH? Can you imagine how fast the lid of secrecy would TRY TO come down on the story?
 
Alien craft are flying in our skies.
 
There is no doubt in my mind that one flew over LA County on a clear and cold night 60 years ago.

Gregg Braden 박사의 최근 보고에 따르면, 아래는 깜짝 놀랄만한 DNA 실험으로서 DNA가 사람의 “감정상태”에 따라서 자신을 스스로 치유할 수 있음을 증명한다.

최근 그의 프로그램에서 Gregg Braden 박사는 과거에 우리가 고대의 정신적 전통들로부터 잃어버린 어마어마한 정보(고대 알렉산드리아의 도서관이 불타 최소한 532,000점의 문서들을 잃어버렸을때) 그리고 불타버렸지만 이 속에는 우주의 어떤 신비들을 이해하는데 도움이 되는 정보가 있었을 것이라는 점에 대해 토론했다. 이 목적으로 그는 3가지의 매우 흥미로운 실험들을 제시했다. Gregg Braden 박사는 이 커다란 의문을 추구하기 전 과학자이자 엔지니어였다.

실험#1

첫 번째 실험은 양자생물학자(quantumbiologist) Vladimir Poponin 박사에 의해 시행되었다. 이 실험은 처음에 용기하나를 빈 공간으로 만들고(예를 들어 진공이 내부에 만들어진다), 다음으로 광자(光子)만을 그 속에 남겨둔다.

내부의 광자의 분포도를 측정했더니 완벽하게 불규칙적이었고, 이것은 예측된 결과였다. 그다음으로 어떤 DNA를 그 용기 안에 집어넣고 광자의 분포도를 재 측정했다. 이번에는 광자들이 질서가 잡혀서 줄지어있었고 DNA에 동조되어 있었다. 다른 말로해서 물리적 DNA가 비 물리적 광자에 영향을 주었던 것이다.

이후 DNA를 용기에서 제거하고 광자의 분포도를 다시 측정했다.  광자들은 DNA가 있었던 곳에서 질서가 잡힌 상태를 그대로 유지하고 있었고, 줄지어있었다. 이 빛의 미립자들이 무엇으로 연결된 것일까?

Gregg Braden박사는 어떤 새로운 에너지 계(field) 즉 에너지의 우주적 망(web)이 있다는 것과 이 에너지를 통해 DNA가 광자들과 상호작용을 하고 있다는 가능성을 받아들여야만 한다고 말한다.

실험#2

군에서 시행된 실험이다. 기증자로부터 백혈구가 채혈되어 여러 개의 방에 놓아 백혈구 내의 DNA의 전기적 변화를 측정한 것이었다. 이 실험에서 기증자를 어떤 한 방에 있게 하고 여러 가지의 감정변화를 일으키는 비디오클립(동영상)을 보여줘 “감정적 자극”을 일으키게 했다. (백혈구의)DNA는 같은 빌딩내의 다른 방에 놓여 있었다. 기증자와 그의 DNA는 모니터링을 받고 있는 상태로서 기증자의 감정이 최고치를 기록하거나 골을 기록할 때, DNA도 아주 똑같은 시각에 동일한 반응을 보여주었다. 반응의 시차도 반응전달시간도 없었다. DNA의 최고치와 골은 정확하게 기증자의 것과 똑같은 시간에 발생했다.

기증자와 DNA간의 거리를 계속 멀리 떨어뜨려 보았다. 50마일(1마일=약 1.6093㎞)을 떨어뜨려보았지만 똑같은 결과를 보이자 더 이상 실험을 멈추었다. 여기에는 무슨 의미가 있을까? Gregg Braden 박사는 이것이 살아있는 세포들이 아직 인지되지 않은 에너지를 통해 상호교류 한다는 뜻이라고 말한다. 이 에너지는 시간과 거리에 영향을 받지 않는다. 이것은 부분적 형태의 에너지가 아니라, 이미 어디에나 항상 존재하는 에너지이다.

실험 #3

세 번째 실험은 Heart Math란 기관에 의해서 행해졌고 논문으로 나왔다. 제목: Local and Non local Effects of Coherent Heart Frequencies on Conformational Changes of DNA. (Disregard the title! The info is incredible.)

이 실험에서는 인간의 태반 DNA가 용기에 담겨져서 그 DNA를 측정한 것이다. DNA가 담긴 28개가 훈련된 연구자들 28명에게 주어지고, 각 연구자는 이미 감정을 발생시키고 느끼는 훈련을 받은 상태였으며 그들은 각각 강력한 여러 감정들을 일으켰다.

그러자 연구자들의 감정에 따라서 DNA의 형태가 변화되었음이 발견되었다. 1. 연구자들이 감사, 사랑, 존중(appreciation)을 느꼈을 때에 DNA는 휴식과 DNA나선 풀림으로 반응했다. DNA의 길이는 더 길어졌다. 2. 연구자들이 화, 두려움, 좌절, 또는 스트레스를 느끼자 DNA는 꽉 조여드는 반응을 보였다.  길이는 더 짧아졌고 DNA코드의 스위치가 차단(off)되었다. 부정적인 생각을 할 때 몸이 닫히는 것(shut down)을 느껴보았다면, 이제 왜 그러한지 이해하게 된 셈이다. 다시 사랑, 기쁨, 감사, 존중의 감정 상태로 돌아오자 DNA도 닫힘(shut down)이 역전되고, DNA 코드는 다시 스위치가 연결되었다.

이 실험은 이어서 HIV 양성 환자들에게 나중에 시도되었고, 사랑, 감사, 존중의 감정상태가 이러한 감정을 갖지 않은 상태보다 300,000배의 저항력을 만들어냈음을 발견했다. 그러므로 주위에 어떤 치명적인 바이러스나 박테리아가 떠다닌다 하더라도 어떻게 해야 건강하게 스스로를 도울 수 있는지의 해답이 나온 셈이다. 

이러한 감정들은 전자기력의 효과를 초과했다. 깊은 사랑에 대해 훈련받은 개개인들은 DNA의 형태를 변화시킬 수 있었다. Gregg Braden 박사는 이것이 또 한번 모든 창조물들을 연결해주는 에너지형태가 인정받는 실례라고 말한다.

이 에너지는 모든 물질을 연결하는 촘촘하게 엮는 우주적 망(그물:web)처럼 보인다. 필연적으로 우리는 우리의 감정적 반응 작용(vibration)을 통해 이 창조력을 가진 우주적 그물에 영향을 끼칠 수 있다.

Unusual Side Effects of Electronic Medicine

As a trained scientist and engineer, I focus on effects which can be
repeatedly produced in the laboratory. In particular, I detect specific
pathogens, target them with specific frequency sets, and repeatedly
eliminate them virtually 100% of the time using hundreds of research
participants. In so far as is possible, I independently verify effects
through objective means. A graph of frequency peaks from a DIRP scan with
an FSCAN is one of the most useful cross checks. However, anyone who has
been an experimental scientist knows there are clever ways to do objective
checks in many dimensions on an experiment.

At the same time, there are many effects that are often experienced by
people I work with that are not repeatable in an exact manner because they
depend on the unique state of that individual and their frame of mind at
the time. The effects are worth mentioning because they are becoming
increasingly common and some of them are very powerful in a psychological
and spiritual dimension as well as the physical.

In my view, they all relate to the inherent link between DNA structures
that is independent of distance. I often tell my clients that a high
resolution photo with the latest digital cameras is more useful to me than
a DNA sample such as blood, hair, or saliva. In fact, to me it works like a
DNA sample. Scanning of the photo with the Cameron Aurameter works as well
as scanning them in person. The experiments below point to some of the
characteristics of DNA that can help point the way to an understanding of
this phenomenon.


Self Healing DNA Discoveries

Below are three astonishing experiments with DNA whichproves that DNA can
heal itself according to the "feelings" of the individual as reported
recently by Gregg Braden.

In his recent program entitled Healing Hearts/Healing Nations: The Science
of Peace and the Power of Prayer, Gregg Braden discussed how in the past we
lost huge amounts of information from ancient spiritual traditions (when
the library at Alexandriaburned we lost at least 532,000 documents), and
that there may be information in those traditions which could help us
understand some of the mysteries of science. To this end he reported on
three very interesting experiments. Gregg Braden started off as a scientist
and engineer, before he began pursuing these larger questions.


EXPERIMENT #1

The first experiment he reported was done by Dr.Vladimir Poponin, a
quantumbiologist. In this experiment, first a container was emptied (ie a
vacuum was created within it), and then the only thing left in it were
photons (particles of light).

They measured the distribution (ie the location) of the photons and found
they were completely random inside the container.This was the expected
result. Then some DNA was placed inside the container and the distribution
(location) of the photons was remeasured. This time the photons were LINED
UP in an ORDERED way and aligned with the DNA. In otherwords the physical
DNA had an effect on the non-physical photons.

After that, the DNA was removed from the container, and the distribution of
the photons was remeasured again. The photons REMAINED ORDERED and lined up
where the DNA had been. What are the light particles connected to?

Gregg Braden says we are forced to accept the possibility that some NEW
field of energy, a web of energy, is there and the DNA is communicating
with the photons through this energy.


EXPERIMENT #2

These were experiments done by the military. Leukocytes (white blood cells)
were collected for DNA from donors and placed into chambers so they could
be measure electrical changes. In this experiment, the donor was placed in
one room and subjected to "emotional stimulation" consisting of videoclips,
which generated different emotions in the donor. The DNA was placed in a
different room in the same building. Both the donor and his DNA were
monitored and as the donor exhibited emotional peaks or valleys (measured
by electricalresponses), the DNA exhibited the IDENTICAL RESPONSES AT THE
EXACT SAME TIME. There was no lag time, no transmission time. The DNA peaks
and valleys EXACTLY MATCHED the peaks and valleys of the donor in time.

The military wanted to see how far away they could separate the donor from
his DNA and still get this effect. They stopped testing after they
separated the DNA and the donor by 50 miles and STILL had the SAME result.
No lag time; notransmission time. The DNA and the donor had the same
identical responses in time. What can this mean?

Gregg Braden says it means that living cells communicate through a
previously unrecognized form of energy. Thisenergy is not affected by time
and distance. This is a non-local form of energy, an energy that already
exists everywhere, all the time.


EXPERIMENT #3

The third experiment was done by the Institute of Heart Math and the paper
that was written about this was titled: Local and Non local Effects of
Coherent Heart Frequencies on Conformational Changes of DNA. (Disregard the
title! The info is incredible.)

This is the experiment that relates directly to the anthrax situation. In
this experiment, some human placenta DNA (the most pristine form of DNA)
was placed in a container from which they could measure changes in the DNA.
Twenty-eight vials of DNA were given (one each) to 28 trained researchers.
Each researcher had been trained how to generate and FEEL feelings, and
they each had strong emotions.

What was discovered was that the DNA CHANGED ITSSHAPE according to the
feelings of the researchers: 1. Whenthe researchers FELT gratitude, love
and appreciation, the DNA responded by RELAXING and the strands unwound.
The length of the DNA became longer. 2. When theresearchers FELT anger,
fear, frustration, or stress, the DNA responded by TIGHTENING UP. It became
shorter and SWITCHED OFF many of our DNA codes! If you've everfelt "shut
down" by negative emotions, now you know why your body was equally shut
down too. The shut down of the DNA codes was reversed and the codes were
switched backon again when feelings of love, joy, gratitude and
appreciation were felt by the researchers.

This experiment was later followed up by testing HIV positive patients.
They discovered that feelings of love, gratitude and appreciation created
300,000 TIMES the RESISTANCE theyhad without those feelings. So here's the
answer to what can help you stay well, no matter what dreadful virus or
bacteria may be floating around. Stay in feelings of joy, love, gratitude
and appreciation!

These emotional changes went beyond the effects of electro-magnetics.
Individuals trained in deep love were able to change the shape of their
DNA. Gregg Braden says this illustrates anew recognized form of energy that
connects all of creation.

This energy appears to be a TIGHTLY WOVEN WEB that connects all matter.
Essentially we're able to influence this web of creation through our VIBRATION.

Israel plans W Bank 'apartheid' roads

Israel is considering a permanent ban on Palestinians using major
roads in the occupied West Bank, security sources have said, drawing
Palestinian condemnation of the idea as a form of apartheid.

Israel barred private Palestinian vehicles from several West Bank
highways on Monday, expanding a network of settler-only routes, a
day after Palestinian fighters killed three young Jewish settlers in
a drive-by shooting.

The army had billed the new restrictions as temporary to protect
Israelis from further attack in the territory, which many analysts
believe will become the focus of renewed violence following Israel's
pullout from Gaza last month.

But a plan is now under consideration for permanently designating
some roads for separate use by Israelis and Palestinians. "The army
is discussing implementation of such a plan," a senior security
source said.

Israel's Maariv daily said it was part of a larger blueprint to
eventually separate the Israeli and Palestinian populations, but the
security officials cast doubt on such a motive.

Road-use restrictions

Military commanders were due to meet on Wednesday to discuss road-
use restrictions in the West Bank, Israel Radio reported.

Palestinians see the measures, which force them onto poorly
maintained back roads, as part of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's
strategy of tightening Israel's grip on West Bank settlement blocs
after pulling all 8500 settlers out of the Gaza Strip.

In White House talks on Thursday, Palestinian President Mahmoud
Abbas is expected to urge pressure for a halt to Israeli settlement
construction in the West Bank. Palestinians want Gaza and the West
Bank for a future state.

"If they go ahead (and make the road restrictions permanent) it is
the official introduction of an apartheid system," Palestinian chief
negotiator Saeb Erekat said. "This scheme ... would destroy any
effort to revive a meaningful peace process."

He said creation of separate roads also bolsters Israel's barrier
under construction in the West Bank. Israel says it keeps out
bombers. Palestinians call it a land grab.

Al-Rajoub reaction

Abbas's adviser Jibril al-Rajoub said this was "a desperate Israeli
attempt to tighten the noose on the Palestinian people in the West
Bank".

"Such measures will never break the determination of the
Palestinians and their struggle to establish their independent
state. The Israelis have taken the measures under the pretext of
maintaining security, but these measures will expose them to more
attacks rather than bring them security.

"The achievement of security is based on ending the occupation and
pulling out of the Palestinian territories to the 1967 border line,
al-Rajoub said.

Asked whether the new measures would affect the security
coordination between Israel and the Palestinians, he said, "There is
absolutely no security coordination with this Israeli government or
a joint security agreement with it.

"Security coordination is logically based on a political perspective
and on an Israeli move to end its occupation in the West Bank and
East Jerusalem. Our joint agreements were smashed by Israel in 2002
when its forces stormed our security headquarters in the West Bank."

On whether the Palestinians could be held accountable in part for
the Israeli decision, he said,"This kind of talk, taken on its
abstract form, could be right, but logically it is incorrect. The
recent Israeli unilateral actions and aggression against the
Palestinian people is an attempt to lure the Palestinians into
reacting to it.

"It is the Israeli occupation that should be held accountable for
its aggression and settlement policies, but on our part, we should
be aware of our commitments. What we need to do is mobilise pressure
on the Israelis to force them meet their commitments," al-Rajoub
said.

Reinstatement

The latest restrictions on Palestinians mark reinstatement of
measures introduced during a five-year-old uprising but which had
been rolled back since a ceasefire took effect in February. The
Israeli army said it would continue letting Palestinian buses run.

Demanding a Palestinian Authority crackdown on fighters, Israel on
Monday suspended security contacts with the Palestinians and sealed
off biblical Bethlehem, from where Sunday's attackers were thought
to have come.

Two women, aged 21 and 23, and a 15-year-old youth were killed in
the deadliest attack on Israelis in months. The violence stirred new
doubts about a shaky eight-month-old truce and undermined hopes the
Gaza pullout would spur peace moves.

그러나 인간도 조종할 수 있을까?

원격으로 조종당할 준비를 하라. 내가 조종당했다.

잠깐 무선 조종 장난감 자동차와 대략 비슷한 것이 되었다고 상상해보자.

일본전신전화회사(NTT: Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp)는 일본 최대 전화회사로서 아마 비디오 게임보다 더 현실감 넘치는 기술을 개발하고 있다고 말한다. 그러나 더 불길한 응용방법 또한 떠오른다.

Remote Control Device 'Controls' Humans

We wield remote controls to turn things on and off, make them advance, make them halt. Ground-bound pilots use remotes to fly drone airplanes, soldiers to maneuver battlefield robots.

But manipulating humans?

Prepare to be remotely controlled. I was.

Just imagine being rendered the rough equivalent of a radio-controlled toy car.

Nippon Telegraph &Telephone Corp., Japans top telephone company, says it is developing the technology to perhaps make video games more realistic. But more sinister applications also come to mind.

I can envision it being added to militaries' arsenals of so-called "non-lethal" weapons.

A special headset was placed on my cranium by my hosts during a recent demonstration at an NTT research center. It sent a very low voltage electric current from the back of my ears through my head — either from left to right or right to left, depending on which way the joystick on a remote-control was moved.

I found the experience unnerving and exhausting: I sought to step straight ahead but kept careening from side to side. Those alternating currents literally threw me off.

The technology is called galvanic vestibular stimulation — essentially, electricity messes with the delicate nerves inside the ear that help maintain balance.

I felt a mysterious, irresistible urge to start walking to the right whenever the researcher turned the switch to the right. I was convinced — mistakenly — that this was the only way to maintain my balance.

The phenomenon is painless but dramatic. Your feet start to move before you know it. I could even remote-control myself by taking the switch into my own hands.

There's no proven-beyond-a-doubt explanation yet as to why people start veering when electricity hits their ear. But NTT researchers say they were able to make a person walk along a route in the shape of a giant pretzel using this technique.

It's a mesmerizing sensation similar to being drunk or melting into sleep under the influence of anesthesia. But it's more definitive, as though an invisible hand were reaching inside your brain.

NTT says the feature may be used in video games and amusement park rides, although there are no plans so far for a commercial product.

Some people really enjoy the experience, researchers said while acknowledging that others feel uncomfortable.

I watched a simple racing-car game demonstration on a large screen while wearing a device programmed to synchronize the curves with galvanic vestibular stimulation. It accentuated the swaying as an imaginary racing car zipped through a virtual course, making me wobbly.

Another program had the electric current timed to music. My head was pulsating against my will, getting jerked around on my neck. I became so dizzy I could barely stand. I had to turn it off.

NTT researchers suggested this may be a reflection of my lack of musical abilities. People in tune with freely expressing themselves love the sensation, they said.

"We call this a virtual dance experience although some people have mentioned it's more like a virtual drug experience," said Taro Maeda, senior research scientist at NTT. "I'm really hopeful Apple Computer will be interested in this technology to offer it in their iPod."

Research on using electricity to affect human balance has been going on around the world for some time.

James Collins, professor of biomedical engineering at Boston University, has studied using the technology to prevent the elderly from falling and to help people with an impaired sense of balance. But he also believes the effect is suited for games and other entertainment.

"I suspect they'll probably get a kick out of the illusions that can be created to give them a more total immersion experience as part of virtual reality," Collins said.

The very low level of electricity required for the effect is unlikely to cause any health damage, Collins said. Still, NTT required me to sign a consent form, saying I was trying the device at my own risk.

And risk definitely comes to mind when playing around with this technology.

Timothy Hullar, assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., believes finding the right way to deliver an electromagnetic field to the ear at a distance could turn the technology into a weapon for situations where "killing isn't the best solution."

"This would be the most logical situation for a nonlethal weapon that presumably would make your opponent dizzy," he said via e-mail. "If you find just the right frequency, energy, duration of application, you would hope to find something that doesn't permanently injure someone but would allow you to make someone temporarily off-balance."

Indeed, a small defense contractor in Texas, Invocon Inc., is exploring whether precisely tuned electromagnetic pulses could be safely fired into people's ears to temporarily subdue them.

NTT has friendlier uses in mind.

If the sensation of movement can be captured for playback, then people can better understand what a ballet dancer or an Olympian gymnast is doing, and that could come handy in teaching such skills.

And it may also help people dodge oncoming cars or direct a rescue worker in a dark tunnel, NTT researchers say. They maintain that the point is not to control people against their will.

If you're determined to fight the suggestive orders from the electric currents by clinging to a fence or just lying on your back, you simply won't move.

But from my experience, if the currents persist, you'd probably be persuaded to follow their orders. And I didn't like that sensation. At all.

월드 와이드 웹(www: World Wide Web)은 세계 어디든지 상호 연락할 수 있고 정보를 제공한다. 지구에 이 새로운 통신수단의 등장으로 인해 역사상 최초로 전 지구적으로 개개 시민들이 단어와 소리와 그림을 저렴하고 직접적으로 집에서 교류할 수 있게 되었다.

인터넷은 인류 진보의 중요한 디딤돌을 대표하고 있으며, 앞으로 등장할 것들의 선구자이기도 하다. 벨기에 브뤼셀의 AI(인공지능)연구자 Francis Heylighen은 이 새로운 지구적 의사소통 시스템이 매일 수십억의 사람들이 정보를 더해가면서 점차 세력을 계속 높여갈 것이라고 보고 있다. Heylighen 그것은 정보가 더욱 축적될 것이고, 지구적 초유기체로 변신하면서 언젠가는 모든 인류의 문제에 대한 해결책을 제공할 수 있을 것이라고 말한다.

The World Wide Web is a network of inter-connectivity that goes everywhere
and follows its own intelligence. The advent of this newly emerging
communication field around our planet has enabled citizens from all
lifestyles to communicate globally via words, sounds and pictures ?br> inexpensively, person-to-person, from the safety and sanctity of their own
home ?for the first time in history.

The Internet represents a major step in our evolution, and is a forerunner
of things to come. Brussels, Belgium AI researcher Francis Heylighen sees
huge growth as this new world-wide communication system continues to gain
power from billions of humans adding to its intelligence every day. It will
get smarter, Heylighen says, as it morphs into a global super-organism that
could one day provide solutions to all of humanity뭩 problems.

Experts compare the Internet to planet Earth growing a global brain. As
users, we represent the neurons; our e-mails and other postings act as
nerve endings; and electromagnetic waves through the sky become neural
pathways. Like germinating seeds, this global brain continues to evolve and
as some believe, will not stop until it finally develops feelings and
achieves consciousness.

Feelings are a lower level of awareness or consciousness of what goes on in
a system뭩 environment. In that sense, the global brain will be conscious
of important events affecting its goals. A higher level of consciousness,
self-awareness, would require that the global brain could reflect on its
own functioning. The Internet, in the wider sense of the world community is
slowly becoming aware of itself. Although today뭩 algorithms make the web
more intelligent, it cannot monitor itself. However, there is no in
principle obstacle towards implementing such a capacity in the future.

Search engine researchers are developing new algorithms that adapt web
pages to user needs. Today, only humans can place hyperlinks in web pages;
tomorrow, search engines will auto-link pages to specific user needs.

These hyperlinks bear a remarkable resemblance to the human brain. Synapses
that connect neurons become stronger with repeated use and disappear if
usage ends. Similarly, global brain뭩 algorithms will reinforce popular
links, while rarely used links will diminish and die.

Could tomorrow뭩 global brain allow uploading the human mind? At present,
information exchanged between humans and computers only occur with mouse,
keyboard or voice. However, futurists believe that one-day technology will
enable us to separate our minds from the physical brain and store its
information in a computer.

This is not as crazy as you might think. Howard Hughes Medical Institute is
rounding up 300 of the world뭩 top neuroscientists to capture human thought
at the exact moment of creation, which conceivably could enable thoughts,
memories and feelings to be 뱔ploaded?into a machine.

In the future, many believe we will treat the human mind like any other bit
of information, and copy and store it in various media. Scientists are
aware that our mind roams over trillions of neurons and today, we do not
possess the mental code to unravel this incredibly complex system.

Nevertheless, as we inch closer to our 뱈agical future? we are convinced
that, given the money and the mandate, humanity will crack that code.

미국 정부는 2005년 10월 11일 2차 세계대전 중 헝가리

유대인들의 것인 나치의 “황금열차”에 있던 귀중품들을

압수한 미군들의 행위에 대해 유감이라는 사과성명서를

냈다. 

미 법무부에 의해 발간된 이 성명서는 미국정부는 “자국

군인들 중 일부의 부적절한 행동을 유감스럽게 생각한다.”

이들은 보석류, 금, 예술작품, 동양양탄자, 자기, 식탁용

기구류, 린네르류, 기타 등을 싣고 가던 기차의 물품들을

압수했다. 

“미국은, 비록 자국 군인들의 행동이 대부분의 사항에

있어서 부적절했지만, 그것은 미국 정책과 군인들에게

기대된 기준에 반한다.”라고 법무부가 발표했다.

이 사과는 미국정부와 약 62,000명의 나치 홀로코스트

에서 살아남은 헝가리 생존자들 양측에 대한 마이애미

연방법원에 의해 9월 26일 결정된 해결책의 일부요구

사항으로서 발표된 것이다. 이 해결책은 2천 5백만 달러

(약250억원)를 전 세계의 사회복지부서(social service

agencies)들을 통해 생활이 딱한 유대인들에게 나눠주는

것이며, 전액 이스라엘, 헝가리, 미국, 캐나다의 유대인들

에게 돌아간다.

“황금열차”는 1945년 5월 나치 헝가리 군으로부터 미군

으로 결론지었다. 비록 일부군인들은 잡혀 기소되기도 했

지만, 극히 일부만 환수되었다.

미국정부는 황금열차 물품들의 소유자들을 확인하는 것이

불가능하고, 헝가리의 당시 공산주의 정부가 협력하지 않을

것이라는 결정을 내린 후 유대인구호 희생자들을 원조하기

The U.S. government issued a statement of regret Tuesday for the
actions of soldiers who took valuables belonging to Hungarian Jews
that had been seized on a Nazi "Gold Train" during the chaotic end
of World War II.

The statement issued by the U.S. Justice Department said that the
government "regrets the improper conduct of certain of its military
personnel" who took items that had been on the train, which was
carrying jewelry, gold, artwork, Oriental rugs, china, cutlery,
linens and other items.

"The United States has concluded that, although the conduct of its
personnel was appropriate in most respects, it was contrary to U.S.
policy and the standards expected of its soldiers" in some actions,
the Justice Department statement said.

The apology was required as part of a settlement approved September
26 by a federal judge in Miami between the U.S. government and about
62,000 Hungarian survivors of the Nazi Holocaust. The settlement
calls for $25.5 million to be distributed to needy Jews through
social service agencies around the world, with the bulk going to
those in Israel, Hungary, the United States and Canada.

The "Gold Train" was captured by U.S. soldiers from pro-Nazi
Hungarian forces in May 1945. A U.S. investigation found in 1999
that some Army soldiers failed to return items
initially "requisitioned" from the train and used in postwar
offices, such as rugs, cutlery and even typewriters.

The investigation also concluded that some property was stolen from
a warehouse by soldiers. Although some personnel were caught and
prosecuted, little of the property was recovered.

The government did hold an auction of remaining items in 1948 to
benefit Jewish relief victims after determining that it would be
impossible to identify the owners of the Gold Train property and
that Hungary's then-communist government would be unlikely to
cooperate.

"The United States expresses its sympathy and solidarity with these
victims and hopes that the settlement approved by the district court
will provide meaningful assistance to those survivors," the Justice
Department statement said.

The Bush administration was under bipartisan pressure to settle what
was seen as a black mark on the U.S. record in World War II. Sen.
Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania, chairman of the Senate Judiciary
Committee, and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, were among
17 senators who urged a resolution in a letter last year.

지난주 수요일 5대의 미확인 비행물체(UFOs)가 볼리비아의 오루로 동쪽에 나타나,

수천 명이 호기심과 놀라움으로 이 미지의 장면을 지켜보았다. 또한 Corporacion

Orurena de Comunicacion (COC) TV방송국 채널 39가 이 영상을 촬영했다.

이 비행물체는 22:30분 하늘에 나타났다. 이들 이상한 2개의 물체로서 동쪽 지역

에자리잡고는 빨강, 초록, 파란색이 차례대로 바뀌어 사람들의 이목을 끌었다. 또

한 이 물체들은 하늘에서 나타났다 사라졌다.

이 중 은색의 원형 UFO는 주위에 빠른 속도로 2개의 이중 원호를 그리며 회전하

는 2대의 UFO로 인해 가장 유명했다.

이 광경은 지역 주민들의 관심을 끌었고, 시민들의 전화로 채널 39 스탭진들도

UFO의 출현을 영상으로 기록할 수 있었다.

2005년 7월 마지막 주 시간은 대략 19:30분 상업용 비행기 한 대가 지방공항 활

주로에 마지막 접근을 하고 있을 때,  라팜파(아르헨티나 중부에 있는 주. 부에노

스아이레스 주 바로 서쪽에 있다.)의 산타로사 서쪽으로 향한 미확인비행물체 출

현이 보고되었다. 

관제탑 관제사는 부에노스 아이레스로부터의 상용비행기의 궤적을 지켜보고 있었

다. 이때 동쪽에서 서쪽에 걸쳐 항공기와 평행하게 천천히 움직이는 빛나는 물체

의 존재를 탐지했다.

이 상황을 직면하자, 관제탑 관제사는 관제탑빌딩의 밑층에 있는 비행계획운용자

(Flight Plan Operator)에게 이 알려지지않은 물체의 존재를 확인여부를 요청했다.

두 사람은 정기여객선이 서쪽에서 북쪽으로 마지막으로 접근하며 들어오고, 이때

빛나는 물체는 움직임을 멈추고 강렬한 청백의 후레시를 밝히더니 다시 움직임을

시작했고 다시 멈추더니 또 다른 후레쉬를 방출하고 그후 이탈궤적이 탐지도 되지

않고는 사라져버렸다.

이 UFO는 방위각 140 수평각20도에서 보였다가 방위각 180도를 향해 사라지고

는 다시는 탐지되지 않았다.

* Channel 39 Managed to Capture Images of Five Unidentified Objects

Five unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were seen last Wednesday night over
Eastern Oruro, causing curiosity and amazement in thousands of witnesses
who managed to directly see those unknown images, which were also captured
by Channel 39 of the Corporacion Orurena de Comunicacion (COC).

The flying objects appeared in the sky at 22:30 hours. They were two
strange objects located in the eastern region that drew people's attention
due to their red, green and blue lights, sequentially, and they also
appeared and vanished in the firmament.

The most notorious one was a silvery, circular UFO that presented two
circumferences -- a smaller one located inside the object and another
outisde the circumference, spinning at an impressive speed.

The spectacle drew the attention of local residents. Channel 39 staff
managed to record the UFOs presence as citizens phoned the television
station to describe what the could see from their respective areas.

Abel Flores Mujica, one of the witnesses, manifested his surprise at having
seen the unidentified object in space.

"I refer to it as an artifact, since I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
My daughter went outside and I told her: "That's a UFO. She replied that it
it wasn't a UFO, that it was the planet Mars that was delayed in covering
space (sic). But that object had lights and it wasn't a star. Last night's
event startled me and then my daughter said: "Look, it's not the only one,
there are others there", and it was evident," he said.

Channel 39 journalist and show host, Pedro Rubin de Celis, said that
Wednesday night's sighting confirms the theory that we are not alone in the
Universe. "This has been a marvelous presence of UFOs in the firmament, and
many people stepped out onto their balconies to observe this spectacle. The
camera zoom has shown us, beyond the vehicle's flashes, a circle making
concentric movements within other circles around the vessel and with a
black dot at the center. The objects also had their own movement," he
explained.

During the last week of July 2005, the time being approximately 19:30 h,
the presence of an unidentified flying object was reported toward the south
of Santa Rosa, La Pampa, just as a commercial airliner was making its final
approach to the local airport's runway.

The Airport Control Tower Operator was observing the approach trajectory of
a commercial flight from Buenos Aires when he detected the presence of a
luminous object moving slowly and parallel to the aircraft, from east to west.

Faced with this circumstance, the tower operator requested a confirmation
of the unknown object's presence from the Flight Plan Operator, located in
the lower level of the control tower building. Both men could visualize the
airliner entering its final approach from a south to north direction while
the luminous object halted its movement, issued a bright flash of intense
blue-white light, re-started its movement, stopped again to emit another
flash, and subsequently vanished before its departure trajectory could be
detected.

This UFO was seen on radial 140 and some 20 degrees over the horizon,
vanishing toward radial 180, and at no point ever being detected by the
airliner's crew.

1930년대 정부검열관들은 동성애(여성간)에 관한 책들이 이 주제를 더 자극할까를 걱정했던 것으로 National Archive(영국문서보관소의 의미)의 새로 일반에 공개된 문서기록에서 보여준다.

Lesbian fears over banned books
Government censors in the 1930s feared that banning books about
lesbianism would prompt interest in the subject, National Archive
records show.

They were concerned that suppressing certain books could lead to
women "getting to know" about such practices and "defeat the object"
of censorship.

The issue prompted the circulation of numerous memos among civil servants.

The newly released documents are available for the public to view at
the National Archives in Kew, London.

Concerns were raised after a member of the public wrote to the
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in 1935 to complain about a
health book for women entitled The Single Woman And Her Emotional Problems.

Home Office papers reveal that the book dealt with the emotional
"frustration" faced by many women living in a Britain with a shortage
of men following World War I.

The book, civil servants concluded, suggested that "for some women
satisfaction may be obtained either by masturbation or by lesbianism".

It prompted Mary Kidd, of St Leonards, East Sussex, to write angrily
to the DPP, saying "it is a dreadful book and a most pernicious one".

In a memo to the Home Office, E H Tindal Atkinson of the DPP
department, wrote: "The writer, while not openly advocating the
practices mentioned on those pages, is certainly adopting a very
charitable attitude towards matters which ordinarily call for condemnation."

Papers suggest Whitehall was concerned about how best to deal with
the book because it did not want a repeat of the publicity
surrounding the banning of Well Of Loneliness - a novel which touched
on lesbianism - in the 1920s.

The documents show that J F Henderson of the Home Office wrote: "It
is notorious that the prosecution of the Well Of Loneliness resulted
in infinitely greater publicity about lesbianism than if there had
been no prosecution.

'Unnatural practices'

"And if the object of suppression is to prevent women getting to know
that these practices exist and adopting them, then I think there is
no doubt whatever that the object would be defeated by prosecution
and its attendant publicity."

The memos were among a bundle of documents on government
decision-making in the 1930s concerning whether certain literature
should be branded "indecent" and suppressed.

Other documents released contain examples of pamphlets from foreign
publishing companies advertising literature for mail order on a range
of subjects including flagellation and other "unnatural practices".

Many of the adverts, which were seized by police in the 1930s,
contain illustrations for books with such names as A Girl And A
Thousand Gobs and Strange Marriage.

미국의 과학자들이 현대의 여러 가지 감자들이 7,000년 이상 이전의 페루가 단일 기원임을 밝혀냈다.

감자는 페루에서 아르젠티나에 이르는 넓은 기원을 갖는 것으로 믿어져 왔었다.

미국의 위스콘신 메디슨 대학의 David Spooner박사가 이끈 이 팀은 360개의 야생감자 및 재배 감자들의 DNA를 분석했다.

약 3억 톤의 감자가 전 세계에서 해마다 생산된다.

이 연구는 미 농림부가 후원했다.

원예농업 교수인 Spooner박사는 고고학적 발견으로 감자가 페루에서 7,000년 이상 이전에 농부들에 의해 재배되고 있었음을 보여주었다고 말했다.

Modern potato had roots in Peru
US scientists have found that all modern varieties of potatoes can be
traced back to a single source - a spud grown in Peru over 7,000 years ago.

It had been believed potatoes had a much wider region of origin,
stretching from Peru to northern Argentina.

The team, led by Dr David Spooner of the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, analysed the DNA of about 360 potatoes, both wild
and cultivated.

Some 300 million tonnes of potatoes are produced around the world every year.

The study was sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture.

Dr Spooner, a professor of horticulture, said archaeological finds
had shown potatoes were being grown in Peru by farmers "more than
7,000 years ago".

"In contrast to all prior hypotheses of multiple origins of the
cultivated potato, we have identified a single origin from a broad
area of southern Peru," said the scientist, who spends two months a
year collecting wild potatoes on treks in South America's mountainous regions.

Potatoes were brought back to Spain by the conquistadors around 1570,
and spread throughout Europe.

They were later introduced in North America by British colonists.
